The Cubs Program for younger players (U6 and U7) focuses on two things. Introducing basic soccer skills, in a fun-filled, developmentally appropriate, environment and gradually acquainting players (and families) with the increasing commitments of competitive soccer.
- FALL: Players begin in the Fall with one 60-minute practice per week. Players who wish to play on a team sign up with a parent coach and play games through SAM Soccer.
- WINTER: Players continue in the Winter with one 60-minute practice per week indoors.
- SPRING: Players participate in one 60-minute practice per week. Those who are highly motivated participate in a second, optional 60-minute practice. Players continue with their SAM teams for the Spring.
In the Fall, the practice is on Fridays. In the Spring, the practice is on Mondays, and the optional practice is on Fridays.
Players are welcome to join at any time during the year, and players who join at U6 may choose to repeat the program for a second year.
